Glossary & Symbol Index
The whole Atlas, one lookup away. Can’t remember what a deflated Sharpe ratio is, which pillar owns VPIN, or what the little in the market-impact models means? Start here.
How to use this page. Two sections, both alphabetical.
- Section A - Terms (A–Z) - a term, a one-line definition, and a canonical page to jump to. Every “Where to read” cell is a real hub link that exists in the Atlas.
- Section B - Symbols - the overloaded Greek/Latin symbol set, what each means, where it means that, and the canonical page for the meaning you most often need.
A term or symbol may live in several pillars - the canonical page is the single hub where it is explained most fully. In a few cases (delta, gamma, lambda, sigma) the same symbol means different things in different pillars; Section B flags those explicitly.
